A physical estimate, also refered to as an in-home estimate, will give the moving company a better idea of what needs to be done to transport your things safely. A good mover will know exactly where to look while doing a walk-through. He/she will check in closets, cabinets, attics, outdoors, etc. to make sure nothing is left out of the quote. The estimator will also calcualte the number and type of boxes necessary to do the job.
